Wow, I mentioned in my last post that my YouTube App not working after upgrading my iPhone 2G to OS3 more jailbreaking an Unlocking with Redsn0w. Good news, I have a fix that worked for me and it's simple as 1,2,3. The main problem was that my time was bad system. It is obviously necessary to have accurate time on your iPhone 2G before YouTube's servers are ready to accept your connection. Here's what helped me fix the "Unable to connect to YouTube" issue. I said it was easy because you must set the clock on the iPhone to the correct time, date and year.

IPhone TIPS: Fix

Enable stake is not always as "easy" with the method prescribed by http://help.benm.at. Like many of us tried this method, the last 24 hours. I have a factory unlocked iPhone 3G SIM purchased in Italy last summer. After updating iPhone OS 3.0, I followed the instructions I found on many blogs to help tie my Vodafone SIM card. mainly:
1. Open Safari on the iPhone
2. Go to http://help.benm.at.
3. Press the link mobileconfigs
4. Touch my country
5. Tap my provider Vodafone
6. Press Install
7. Confirm to start the installation
8. IPhone Reboot [this should enable MMS]
9. Go to Settings => General => Network
In Network I see suddenly installation tethering! So I Tap for installation. But ... a pop-up message says:
"To allow tehering on this account, contact holder"
This is not the expected message from the screenshots I saw on blogs. It does not work. I checked the settings for Camera. Go to Settings => General => Network => cellular data network:
Well my "work" Settings APN have been replaced by other NPC. My live.vodafone.com was now I see another URL, as well as Vodafone. However, I solved the problem by going into another small section of lower http://help.benm.at. And typed on "Mobileconfig> Create" which brings me to the generator L '(see picture left) . Which brings me to a custom page when I hit my original "APN settings work.
APN: live.vodafone.com
Username: Vodafone
Password: Vodafone
Piquet: Enabled
Click the Generate button.
Then I installed these settings as I did the first time.
Result after reboot: works tethering and MMS working. Please follow the instructions followed elsewhere for "How to use tethering")
